"Bay of Fundy Outcrop" by Bruce Barton
Bruce Barton is an accountant that has enjoyed using his creative energies to capture images with strong moods.
This image won the Fosters Trophy as the Best Canadian Landscape of the Year in 2015 at ECC. It was taken near Hopewell Rocks, New Brunswick on a cloudy October afternoon. The shapes, texture and colouration of the rock tapering to a pine at the top creates an unusual composition. In post processing, the detail in the clouds was developed to provide more drama.
